Finding Beauty in the Everyday

Inspiration doesn’t strike from the extraordinary—it often comes from the simple, overlooked details of everyday life. Whether it’s a striking motif discovered during travel or a colour combination spotted on a regular day, the AZGA team draws ideas from the world around them.

“It starts with little drawings,” shares the designer. “Forms, colors, and motifs take shape on paper as silhouettes we plan to work with. From there, we size and detail these sketches, turning them into jewelry samples.” This organic approach ensures that every design feels personal, thoughtful, and rooted in the real world.

Colour as the Cornerstone

For AZGA, colour is more than an aesthetic choice—it’s the foundation of their designs. The creative process always begins with selecting the right hues, which then guide the choice of materials and techniques.

“Colour is core for us,” the designer emphasizes. “Once we decide on the palette, everything else—enameling, stone inlays—falls into place.” 

Balancing Classic with Contemporary 

At AZGA, traditional techniques like enamelling and stone inlay play a significant role in the brand’s identity, yet there’s always a fresh, modern twist. They keep the core technique traditional while blending in contemporary elements. The result? Pieces that honour their heritage while feeling perfectly suited to today’s world.

Navigating Challenges with Creativity

The creative process isn’t without its challenges. For AZGA, the biggest hurdle is staying true to its voice in a world flooded with trends. “We try not to be influenced by what everyone else is doing,” the designer explains. “We’re constantly creating, and that helps us explore new ideas. Only about a quarter of what we design actually gets launched—it’s a process of refinement.”

A Journey worth Celebrating

While the AZGA team occasionally encounters unexpected discoveries or “happy accidents” along the way, every piece of AZGA jewellery is a labor of love. From the first sketch to the final polish, the process is as intricate and thoughtful as the designs themselves.
